Delivering highest quality fine art reproductions requires top end equipment.

At Jetart Company this equipment is used throughout our process of creating a fine art reproduction, from initial capture of the artwork to the printing of reproductions.

Capture Phase

Camera: Hasselblad Medium Format Digital Camera with Multi-Shot capability.

Images taken with this camera have a high level of natural sharpness due to the four separate captures, (multi-shot) that are then combined to form the final image. The high resolution image sensor within the camera captures greater detail than any other DSLR currently available. (If greater detail is required, separate images can be taken and digitally stitched together to create larger reproductions.)

Lighting: Sinar Bron Grafit A4 Flash system.

This computer controlled lighting system provides an extremely accurate light level, consistent color temperature and adjustable light power output every time it's triggered. All of which guarantees the the artwork is properly illuminated during image capture. Through careful setup of this lighting system and camera software, varying levels of surface texture and shadow detail can be captured, while maintaining even illumination of the artwork.

View and Adjust Phase

Computer Monitor: NEC wide gamut display with color calibration system, (calibration sensor shown resting on screen).

This 26" monitor displays a wider color gamut than most other displays currently available, ensuring that what is seen on screen will very closely match the final print.

Viewing station: GTI Vertical print Inspector

Provides a controlled lighting environment to compare color accuracy of the prints to the original artwork.
